I take clomipramine, depakote, clomazepam, lexapro, lamictal, and trazodone. I am going to ask my doctor tomorrow, but I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up if you know of any cold medications that would not hurt me to take with the other medications I take.

Did you get a tubal or vestectomy? How old were you? Did you have a hard or easy time getting one? What did you say/do that convinced the doc? How did anyone in your family react? I would appreciate input, but only from childfree by choice only please. The childfree by choice do not want children, and have no plans to have any either. That would be oxymoron. That would go against our wishes and lifestyle. Do not answer attacking or offensive or obscene suggestion

You must have no plans on having children and do NOT have any either to answer. This is because it is known that the childfree by choice have a hard time getting tubals because docs are reluctant act as if we don't know our own minds. They are full of crap. I am childfee by choice and made up my mind and the tender age of 12.

We childfree know that tubal/vesectomies are pernament, that is why we want them, bc who knows if there will be some fundie who will band birth control. Such as the birth control pill like Yasmin.

Are the only ways of catching HIV sex and needle-drug use? I do neither, but the symptoms I've been experiencing many attribute to AIDS-like symptoms.

I got three fillings put in -- 1 that white, tooth-like kinda (porcelain?), 2 whatever type of metal they use -- and around that same time as I got the first metal one (I think, not positive), I started to get sick fairly regularly - for 1-2 weeks every 2-3 weeks. Has anyone ever heard of someone being allergic to their fillings? What do you do to find out if you are?

He cant go to a doctor because he doesnt have health insurance (he never has, and hes 18) And he wont let me take him to the Local Heath Clinc because he cant afford it and wont let me pay. Let me preface this by saying I've been to the doctor a dozen times, and this is still happening. Also, I am NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE nor used any drugs, needle or otherwise - no HIV here.

Symptoms:
Swollen lymph nodes in neck
Strong pain in swallowing
Sore skin, sore back
Fever (102 max), sinus-type headache
Constant need to spit (post-nasal drip)
General joint ache, general malaise

Tests taken:
X-Ray of teeth
X-Ray of sinus cavities
Chest X-Ray
CT scan of head/sinuses
CT scan of neck region
Numerous mono/strep tests
Numerous blood/stool/urine tests

Symptoms have come and gone for the past 8 months or so. Typically symptoms will persist for 1-2 weeks, followed by 2-3 weeks of less/no symptoms, then a recurrence. Symptoms during the illness period are debilitating.

I've taken many antibiotics, both orally and via IV. The most effective treatment was 3 days of antibiotics/fluids via IV during a hospital visit 3 weeks ago, but that only delayed symptoms for 3 weeks

My son gets a bloody nose every few weeks - I've recently learned that this is very hereditary on my husband's side of the family. Is there anything I can do to prevent them? I have heard that cotorizing, although effective, is extremely painful.....

"Blind" or "Deaf", which would you be... This question was asked of me about 15 years ago at a "rock" concert I was attending. P.S. This was asked by a total stranger, and it has always fascinated me. It took me about 5 seconds to answer him..."Blind" was my response, because I couldn't live in a world with-out music!

My daughter is 4 and her top front tooth is loose. I know everyone is different but her sister did not lose her first tooth until she was 6 and it was on the bottom. Just wanting some answers to find out if it is normal or if I should contact her dentist.
