Could depression and anxiety be passed by heredity? It seems me 21 and my two brothers 16 and 23 all have depression and anxiety. My dad suffered from depression for 15years and so did he's brother,I just wanted to know if it could be passed by heredity.
And what can you do about it? Are medications gonna help?

I know you ladies can say, we just need someone to love us more or show us more affection, or this or that. the bottom line is when women dont get this they turn mad. They say stupid things, get mad, and generally act like little spoiled brats. So why women? Why do you really do this? Why cant you just act like a woman with class and stick it out. Nothing bad lasts forever. I just wonder why women are so high strung.

You cant say this doesnt exist, others are asking the same questions, so its obvious that there is a problem here.

he says this way it is easy and he doesn't have to go to the hospital to have the chemo given it is realeased slowly. I think he says it lasts 6 months to a year

if there are any natural ways of curing this i would really want to know... please don't tell me about any kind of mediacations that you use in the USA because i'm from eastern europe and we definetly don't have any of those here... i don't even know how this illness is called in my own language... i just informed myself about the vertigo from the internet... i'm 19 years old and i just passed a very stressful period with lots of hard exams.. i heard vertigo is caused by stress which is probably my case here.... it doesn't affect me that much.. i can live a normal life, i eat and sleep well but this dizziness and balance malfunctions are very very unpleasent... i would gladly appreciate if i could find a solution in this problem....
P.S. i've already consulted an eye specialist and a heart doctor and they both said i was fine so i still dont know where this dizziness comes from...
P.P.S. even though i sometimes tend to be hypochondriac i don't think i'm wrong about this vertigo stuff

Anyone know any FREE GI diet sites, recepies, tips and so on. I have been through loads on the internet, they all say FREE at the start then when you've read for about 20 mins they hit you with a fee, If the government are so worried about people getting fat you'd think they would provide a free diet info package with all the details you need???

I am 30 years old, and normally have sore boobs for about 1 week before my period. My period came and went and I still have sore boobs, they have also got a bit bigger (gone from 83cm chest measurement to 88cm). In fact I'm filling my bra very well !! I think my period was a bit lighter than normal because I used less tampons. I have also been diagnosed in the past with ovarian cysts, although gynae said nothing to worry about. I have also been waking up a bit earlier than normal ( but this could be to do with my fiance tossing and turning!!), and have a bit of an upset tummy, but not sickness. I have also been very "down" during the weeks after my period. Is there anything else besides pregnancy that can cause these symptoms together? I don't really want to do a test because I'm afraid of the result!!!! I live in a small village and if I buy a test, the whole world and her husband will hear about it!!!

If I have depression and anxiety who should I contact? I never had to deal with doctors before so I am kind of lost. I am 21 and I have anxiety,social anxiety with intense panic attacks and depression.
Ive been like this for like 3 years,I decided to do something about it. But who should I contact. All I know that I am patient at some family clinic in dowt town. Should I go there and they are gonna direct me to psychologist or therapist?

I have developed a horrible habit of waking up in the middle of the night and eating a snack. It's very weird and I don't know why I do it. I have tried everything and can't seem to stop. It is actually getting worse and sometimes I get up twice. Ive tried having a high fiber snack before bed and I know it's not because I need to eat more during the day. Please please....what can I do to stop?????

HI,I m a 20 yr old guy from India.I having all kinds of problem.Here are some of them..

1> Have a prblm communicating with people.I M having problem with my speech and also at times hearing problem also.

2> My mind is like a empty box.whatever i talk or say does not make sense to anyone.Nothing comes to my mind to talk with people.I always wanted to talk to people.But thing is the that , I m totally speechless in front of people.I dont know what to talk.

3> Lonely guy.No friends for me in life.I not able to make friends due to my speech prblms & aslo due to the reason that i m less talkitive.Whenever i try to make friend everyone just ignores me.Nobody is happy when i make my presence among them.
