No! There are no long term physical or mental changes associated with sexual activity. The increase in weight myth is probably a result of confusion and puberty. Many people gain weight during and after puberty whether or not they are sexually active. This is also the same time that many people engage in sexual actitivity for the first time. This same time of weight gain is also to blame for the myth that birth control pills cause weight gain.

No.

Proof can be seen by simply looking around. There are many different sizes of people in the world and their sexual activity varies just as greatly as their sizes.

We're all someone's kid and they had to have sex to have us, and not every parent is over-weight.

Sex alone does not increase (or decrease, as far as I am aware) your weight, that is done more by diet and excise and lifestyle in general. Your weight could affect your self-esteem and your desire to have sex, but sex would not increase your weight. It is rigorous exercise...and there is a myth sperm packs a lot of calories, apparently it's only about 5.

Would say this would depend on the starting and finishing point;

If you are malnourished and dangerously underweight, then you will not have much, if any, sexual desire.

If you move up from this to be of a normal weight or even slightly overweight, then your sexual desire and as you are looking better your attractiveness will increase, and from this you’re sexual activity is likely to increase.

However if you move to largely overweight / obese, then your sexual desire is likely to be decreased and you will not be as attractive to the opposite sex therefore your sexual activity is likely to decrease.

ONLY if you get preggers LOL
Seriously though, in a short term relationship usually not but in a longer more established relationship probably BUT it is not due to JUST the sexual activity but rather a host of other incidentals like the relaxing of standards and for the female the desire to feed her mate and for the male the desire to please her by eating ALL of her cooking.

No. Sex burns calories and keeps you occupied (and away from snacking!) Also, you tend to feel good about yourself and your body so you pay more attention to keeping fit and healthy.

Marriage does seem to counter this- people get too comfortable and trust that their spouse will accept them in any form. Don't believe this- stay fit and at your best!

I doubt it seriously, unless you get pregnant. Sex is actually a great way to burn calories.
