I take clomipramine, depakote, clomazepam, lexapro, lamictal, and trazodone. I am going to ask my doctor tomorrow, but I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up if you know of any cold medications that would not hurt me to take with the other medications I take.

If you must have an answer right now, call a 24 hour pharmacy and talk with the pharmacist on duty. Any pharmacist can give you information on how drugs interact with other drugs. If not available, and the staff has time, try calling your local hospital's ER and asking to talk with an MD. They may or may not let this happen, but it is worth a try.
However, only your doctor can know how drugs will interact with other drugs AND your specific system.

The Pill Book Guide to Natural Medicines by Mike Murray highly recommends Esberitox by Enzymatic Therapy. It is herbal, and not likely to interact or cause problems. 3-4 grams a day of Vitamin C probably won't hurt either and will lessen the severity and duration of your cold.
