After you've had a bad day..or week...or life. And you're really stressed out, angry, sad, ect. Would it make you feel better if someone told you how much worse it could be? Why or why not?

Is not a true fact that deodorants are designed to block the pores under you arms? If you are like me and have a minimum of two showers a day and apply deodorant after each of those showers, that's roughly 730 exposures to lung clogging airborne particulates every year. I makes me wonder what all this is doing to our respitory systems. Is the breathing in of all this stuff something else that is adding to the rising number of lung cancer cases around the world?

Alright, so I have learned that walking is very beneficial and effective as a weight loss exercise. I just would like to hear from someone who has actually seen results from walking. I need the motivation. So please, tell me about your experience with walking as exercise!

I have a problem with my throat. When I eat or drink, the muscles in my throat contract, making me feel like I'm choking. This happens with everything I eat or drink, usually twice or three times a meal. Sometimes it's so bad, I have to go to the bathroom to throw up the very last bite I took (never more then that). I can't tell if it's getting caught in my throat because I can breathe and liquids shouldn't get caught, right? Does anyone know what this might be from?

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE... I've got renal colic caused by probable kidney stones. They've done an ultrasound and it shows that my kidney is not draining properly, but now they want to do another ultrasound and this flexible cystoscopy. I've read up on it, so I know what the procedure involves, I just want to know people's actual experiences. Many thanks in advance to all who reply.

Years ago, I read of experiments where mice or other experimental animals were kept awake for many days (more than 5, I think) and died because of it. I have also read of experiments were human subjects were kept up for 3 or 4 days and began to suffer serious hallucinations.

Can anyone confirm either of these?

nedd operation to remove very painful kidney stones so can get back to work. have no money right now but doctors want money up front and I can't find any where to get it. Tried social services and if I were illigal I wouldn't have a problem they even have it posted no green card or social security card needed no questions asked. and all i want to do is get better so I can go to work and pay them back but so far Ican get no help or evenfind out where to get help. I sold most of my meager things at a yard sale to try and get some money but didn't come close to what the doctor wants before he will do anything

she is pretty much a picky person. however all last week the only thing i saw her was the following:
monday, 2 small fig newtons
tuesday, 3 small oreos (she claimed she didn't like them)
friday, she ordered endless pasta bowl at olive garden and ate 4 bites.

today she has had a coffee and now a pop tart

we have talked to her about it many times and she claims she's fine. today i noticed when she was holding a piece of paper her hand was shaking quite noticeably. i'm worried about her and so are my friends.
she keeps claiming that her dr. actually told her to eat less. i think she missed the part about eating smaller portions, but eatting consistently throughout the day. Because unless she lied to her dr about what she eats she hardly eats anything when she does it's all junk. please give me any tips. we're all worried and being she won't listen anymore i dont know what to do
