she is pretty much a picky person. however all last week the only thing i saw her was the following:
monday, 2 small fig newtons
tuesday, 3 small oreos (she claimed she didn't like them)
friday, she ordered endless pasta bowl at olive garden and ate 4 bites.

today she has had a coffee and now a pop tart

we have talked to her about it many times and she claims she's fine. today i noticed when she was holding a piece of paper her hand was shaking quite noticeably. i'm worried about her and so are my friends.
she keeps claiming that her dr. actually told her to eat less. i think she missed the part about eating smaller portions, but eatting consistently throughout the day. Because unless she lied to her dr about what she eats she hardly eats anything when she does it's all junk. please give me any tips. we're all worried and being she won't listen anymore i dont know what to do

tell her that if she's worried about her weight tell that it's not the way to go.then you should do some research, and find a web site that shows you what you you should eat what exercises you should do.the way I manged to help my friend was by doing the diet with her and doing exercise with her.she had fun and stop worrying about want she ate.we still eat healthy and do sport and stuff thats good for your body.I'm glad to hear that you care for your friend so much, hope she gets better, and hope I helped.

Your body needs energy to 'escort' that fat out of your body! Now her in lies the problem with todays obsession of all carbs and fats are bad for you, THEY ARE NOT, just the mainly processed foods. Did you know that only 3% of all doctors have ever been educated about good nutrition and the rest get their info from the government food pyramid! What a joke considering most of the main staples in that diet consist of high glycemic foods that actually make it impossible for you to lose weight! E-mail me a link and i will be happy to forward you a recommendation from my doctor friend to help your friend out!

She's either anorexic or becoming anorexic. She needs help. If she's under 18, you can tell her parents or school counselor. If she's over18, you could hold an intervention and insist she get help, but be prepared to stand behind your threats. If she's over 18 and doesn't want help, there's not much you can do until she's ready to acknowledge that she has a problem. Encourage her, though.

Eating Disorder in the making ...get her some help if you can.

Could be she just doesnt know what to eat thats good for her...maybe you can talk to her about that. Foods that are good for her wont add extra poundage. Like carrots and such.
Id ask her if she doesnt like Oreos why the hell shes eating them...maybe she thinks if she eats stuff she hates she wont want more...
I HATE oreos and I never eat them. So im guessing most people dont eat stuff they dont like. Shes got some issues.

Leave her alone! At least she's trying to lose weight, fat people have no will power and self control. At least she cares about her weight enough to do somthing about it. She'll get hungry enough and eventually eat, then she'll learn starvation doesn't work and try something else. I find it hard to believe that her Dr. didn't tell her more then just eat less when he told her to lose weight. She needs to see another Dr and get real help on the right way to lose weight.

I am no expert but sounds like an anorexic. This is life-threatening. If she won't tell the doctor, then you will have to. BUT with the privacy laws today be warned that the doctor CAN listen to you if he/she chooses to, but CANNOT tell you anything. Do it and save your friend.

try to get her to go back to her doctor.. call or go with her if you have to and make sure he knows what's going on... this girl obviously needs some counseling also.. so you might try that route.. if that doesn't work or she just won't listen I'd swab her arm and get it ready for the IV that's coming to tube feed her when she collapses.
