Make sure you aren't constipated. A lot of times, that can cause cramps. So eat raisins or some other fruits to make you "go". Use heat, whether it be from bath water when you soak in the tub, or a heating pad, or even those Therma Care heat wraps you can get out of the store. Excercise a little bit each day (for about 5 minutes), so when your period comes, the cramps should'nt be as bad.

I've found chamomile tea is great for this, I brew a cup to drink which helps all by itself, and then place the hot tea-bag over my cramp and wrap it with a dry towel...this is great if you can stay at home, but if you get hit when you can't, a nice hot rice sock helps too (clean cotton tube sock filled with rice...heat it for 1 min in microwave and 30 sec. intervals until hot, then place where needed). Although they are not 'natural', those patches that heat up when you stick them on are fabulous too. Another good one to try is to have a hot foot bath...this draws blood away from the cramps...add epsom salt, smooth pebbles, and some geranium essential oil and you have a mini spa treat too.

Forget the natural remedies...USE DRUGS! Tylenol 3's are a girls best friend. Or I guess you can drink orange juice, if drugs really aren't for you. I hear that helps.
