the prime ingredient is not dextrose - it is Sucralose.

The regular sugar in the stores contains Sucrose which is a disaccharide that is made of Glucose and Fructose - they both absorbed in the blood flow.

On the other hand, Sucralose is made from sugar but during the process they change some atoms (three chlorine atoms instead of Hydroxil atoms) and the result is a diet sweet & low, that does not absorbe in the blood flow and therefore gets out of the body like any other waste.

I believe the dextrose used in stuff like Splenda has been created to replace oxygen with chlorine...which sounds nasty, but passes through the body without being used.

a lot of "fat free" products actually have sugar in forms you can't digest.. take for instance any place that has the word "shake" instead of "milk shake".. they use cellulose (plant matter) to thicken flavor to make your drink.. the cellulose can't be broken down by your system so it passes right threw for 0 nutritional value.. so enjoy your next flavored wood drink the next time you go out :)

I dont know, but substitute sugars are toxins. They are linked to more and more cancers and neurological problems, from what my doc says.

Also, the more sugarfree stuff you eat or drink, the more you will want.
