My boy can't breath and so.. to the hospital we ran but.... the weeks go by and there is no way in sight out of all the bills and we still can't go home. In RD there was a Doctor that said that the problem with American medicen is people who can't aford it still get itso does that mean that the rich are the only ones who have the right to live any more? Yet (unlike me) some people don't think they have to pay. Tell me what you think and what you would do

My mom had her thyroids removed because they weren't working right. The doctor failed to get her started on thyroxin and that caused her to gain more than 100 lbs in VERY little time. She is now unable to walk more than 30ft without gasping for breath. She's wanting to lose the weight on her own...as opposed to having gastric bypass surgery. With her condition, what would it take to lose the extra 200 lbs?

I really need to do both. The thing is my kids do not know I smoke, and they have never seen me smoke, and I have never ever smoked anywhere near them... It's a big secret my husband has been helping me keep. He smokes and is stick thin. I'm not so lucky, and can't afford to gain weight. I do eat when I'm bored.. and I'm afraid I'll blimp out if I try to quit all together all at once. Need answers! :)

I have an 18 month old daughter. She was breast fed for 4 months then she went to soy formula. After she was 13 months I took her off formula. She hates the taste of milk so I gave her soy milk, now I researched soy milk and I'm really not comfortably with the possible thyroid links (runs in my family). So she is on Rice milk. There is a warning label on the rice milk to NOT give it to children under 5. I just saw that label today! Well, I'm going to ask the doc about it tomorrow. BUT I don't think mainstream US docs know jack about natural alternatitives to milk. Can anyone else help me? Maybe if you are health food savy or a natural or holistic healer.. or if you are from a country that is more educated on these matters. Please help! Any imput is welcome. Thanks :)

does anyone notice that heroin withdrawal symptoms r worse at night? also does anyone know any ways to help me feel better besides using methadone and stuff, like natural things that will help flush my system quicker so i won't be in so much pain? im crawling out of my skin!!! and i know, i know...im not the first, its my fault, i need help and there may be nothing that can help...but...i'd really appreciate it if anyone who has gone thru withdrawal had any advice for me? thanks

i'm having a big problem with this, and i don't know what to do. I went to the Ent and they said take clainex-D and then after 8 days take regular clainex.. didn't work.. I really don't have any other symtoms, with allgeies sometimes i will get a stuffy noses, but hardly ever!!! i have another appointment with the ent on friday, and i'm going to have him check acid reflux, maybe being the problem!! I was wondering if anyone had the same, problem. and got help for it, i have to clear my throat all the time, and i hate it!! Can some one help me out.. ??? thanks

I have looked up all the possible side effects etc on the internet and the official website. Recently been prescribed lamictal. Its been increased very slowly. I am curious to what others who are treated with it their "small" side effects. I seem to be having a slight cough shortness of breath nothing I find serious but I didn't expect it and well since its september I am assuming its the change of weather as I always get a cold from season to season. I have no signs of the potentially fatal rash though. I just want to know what others have experienced first hand without a doctors stamp on it.

Of course I can help myself..but why would I need to go a doctor for that. Well helping myself hasen't been working either because I'm depressed again. I have been on and off for 15 years. I always hear depression is the most treatable disease...Is it? All the people I met that I still talk to from my first hospital visit 5 years ago still are profoundly depressed. Some came out of it briefly but will have bad episodes. I've taken all the meds over the years..I'm currently on Lithium and Wellbutrin. I'm really struggling right now. I've never done ECT. I refuse to. Anyway I've seen a lot of doctors and therapists and they seem to say the same cliches. The last one explained to me this DBT. She said she wanted me to go about all day with a forced fake smile. I tried this. It didn't make me feel better....who can think about smiling all day anyway? I don't know I'm just really feling hopeless about my condition

before, it was just a pimple. then when i pinched it,it has discharge, a color white and its coming out like a toothpaste, that was 3 years a go, now,i noticed itbecame bigger and my nipple do not erect as fast as my other nipple, my areola is not swollen but it doesnt erect when stimulated.though it erect sometime, when you place ice on it, when i pinch it,i saw puss, then i pinh more thencame puss with blood. i just realize now that i feel something... it hurts a bit or its just my imagination. i am going to a doctor next weekbut pls.. anyone tell me what it is..i am only 22. is it early to have cancer??? or is it a cancer??
