I have the lateral thigh trainer. would anyone know how long i would have to exercise and how long it would take for me to lose weight? Im also on a diet and walk for a hr almost every day.

Until you cut the calories you won't lose weight. And don't think that your plan of skipping meals is going to work. All that does is make your body think it is starving, so it slows down your metabolism so that you don't burn calories as fast. Instead, you need to get up first thing in the morning and eat a small meal. Then go for your morning walk for at least a half an hour. When you return eat another small meal. Eat every 3 hours, but make sure that you do not increase the total calories you eat in a day. 5 to 8 small meals per day is much better than the same amount of calories in 1 or 2 larger meals. If you don't start losing weight doing that, then cut your calories by 5%. When you find that you are losing weight then maintain that calorie level until you stop losing weight. Then increase your daily activity with more walking, or biking or something.
