I lived for 5 years in Michigan and my astma went out of control
in the winter times. Whenever I got a cold, even 2 weeks of medical leave were not enough and I had asthmatic bronchitists all winters despite a very heavy use of steriod inhailer (aerobid). However I had no problems in the summer there. I moved to Californiya 8 years ago and my astma is under full control with a small flovent dose. Now I am offered a very good job in Maryland. Would I have a chance to adjust there? May be someone had this experience? Thank you.

In the morning and for the most part of the day I am fine, I feel highly productive and normal, when it begins to get dark and then its night time I begin to get nervous, kind of weary, and begin to think of bad things that will make me panic or get nervous, in my case DISEASES and being ill and having something wrong with my body, my sister and family are always like "OMG you hypochondriac!" and say that I am paranoid, I can live with it, its not a big deal and I kind of like it when they say that, cause I mean in reality I know its nothing, but as soon as dark hits, I get nervous, :( anyone?

I need to loose wait! Please dont tell me about diets or other things, its not that I appreciate the advice or help I am just really in need and I do know there is more to it than a quick fix surgery, I just have never been even lean Ive always been overweight and I have a bad thyroid and take meds for it. I also have rumitoid arthritis and so its very painful for me to do serious exercise, although I do have 4 kids 11, 9, 3, 1 1/2 that keep me on my toes but it doesnt help and I am afraid I may have a heart-attack otherwise.

Ok, I woke up at 6:00am on August 28th with horrible chest pains. I went to the doctor's that thursday because the pain woke me up at 3:00a.m. They did an EKG and chest X-Ray and said everything was normal. They said it was likely chest wall inflamation and gave me advil. It went away for a couple days and now comes and goes. I am going insane! My symptoms are: severe pain under my left breast, worst when I am laying down, radiates to my left arm pretty badly, sometimes goes into my throat, I can breathe normally-it is slightly worse when I take deep breaths, I have done heavy exercising and it does not make it worse, it does not hurt to the touch, I am only 24, in good shape and I do not smoke anything.
I have tried taking antacids and it does nothing (in case it was acid reflux). I did not have a cough or get injured or anything. I had slight cold or flu symptoms for a couple says prior. It has now been almost 2 weeks and I am miserable. THANKS for any help!!!

i obsess and constantly worry about whether things are evenly spaced and aligned. right now, i have to make sure my computer screen is straight, neither of my hands is touching the desk more than the other, and my elbows are resting equally on the handrests of my chair.
before i seek medical help, which i am going to, does anybody have any advice as to how i can deal with this without medication? i'm not against medication, i would just rather be able to keep it under relative control until i can get medical attention. please help!

thanks in advance
