The first chemical taken in a medical abortion causes the lining of the womb to break down. This cuts off nourishment to the unborn child, who starves to death inside his or her mother's womb. A second chemical causes contractions which push the dead baby out of the mother's body. This can take up to a week. Extensive bleeding and pain occurs. Sometimes, parts of the baby are left inside the mother, where they rot and cause infection. This is what caused the death of 18-year-old Holly Patterson in California.

Medical abortion is termination of pregnancy using drugs. This is effective if done within 45 days of last menstrual date beyond which it is not possible. This method carries a lot of risks and so has to be tried only by a well educated lady capable enough to handle emergencies mentally .
Yes , it is safe to get pregnant after that but please try to avoid pregnancy in the next periods.
OK so why do you want to abort it if you want to get pregnant immediately after?

Mothers are supposed to protect the lives of their children, not kill them. Abortion is the taking of an innocent child's life. I have heard about some women dying after having an abortion. For those who survive, some are not able to conceive afterwards. Children can be given up for adoption instead of being killed. God gives life to the little being inside the mother's womb. To kill an unborn baby is murder and can only bring on bad karma. The child has every right to live just as any other human being.
