In the morning and for the most part of the day I am fine, I feel highly productive and normal, when it begins to get dark and then its night time I begin to get nervous, kind of weary, and begin to think of bad things that will make me panic or get nervous, in my case DISEASES and being ill and having something wrong with my body, my sister and family are always like "OMG you hypochondriac!" and say that I am paranoid, I can live with it, its not a big deal and I kind of like it when they say that, cause I mean in reality I know its nothing, but as soon as dark hits, I get nervous, :( anyone?

Simple. You are afraid of the DARK. Just remember morning is only a few hours away.

You have anxiety attacks at night. Also, you are afraid of the unknown, as the dark represents the unknown. There is medications for this, and you should go to a doctor. Don't waste your life worrying over stuff you have no control over. In fact, worrying makes stress that can cause diseases, so worrying is not good. I used to be like that, and night you have more time to think about things. Just realize that if you take care of yourself, and be careful if you live alone, that you will be ok. You have to realize too, that when it is your time to go, you will go. There was an airplane that just crashed and killed 49 people, and 1 walked away. Just know that when it is your time, there is really nothing you can do, it is just your time. You will be in Heaven and with God, a lot better than here. So all the worrying in the world is not going to make any difference, so after you start thinking this way, you are free. If you can get over that fear of death, then you will be free. Maybe somewhere you had a bad experience in the night time, but no matter, pray that God will relieve you of this fear and anxiety, and put it in His hands. God bless.

Tell me if you have the same condition is you travel, say to Europe
with 8-9 houirs time difference? Does it matter is you spend a ful day inside a windowless room?
Interestingly enough, when it gets dark I feel it is "my time" and I feel
very well. I used to explain it by the fact that I have tension headaches during the day but not at night. However I know this is not the full explanation. When it is a day light I feel "I am on the spot" and I have to perform. When it is night I feel I have time for reflection and collecitng my thoughts for the next day. What kind of deseases you associated with darkness?

We are taught to fear dark and movies reinforce that. But what you can do is this:
Get a journal. Go out into the night with your flashlight. Look at the moon and stars. Try to see the big dipper.Take a photo of the moon. When the wind is blowing, climb into a tree at night. Watch the shooting stars. Set up a tent outside your house and have a slumber party there. Or just go into it yourself and eat Cheetos!
Listen to all the beautiful animals' sounds and the breezes in the trees.

There is a whole other beautiful world out there that you are missing!
Go see it and then write about it in your journal.
Your fears have been conquered.

Because subconciously, you cannot see very well in the dark, and this produces adrenalin which worries you. Curiosity wants you to look further but then your vision is limited, therefore making you afraid to explore further. You should be confident and try walk around a familiar place/room blindfolded. Good Luck!

Fear of the Unknown. Not knowing what's behind the shadows, could be a parallel to how you subconsciously feel about other things, thereby making you doubt and think the worst. Of every situation.

Maybe you have some bad memories at night in your childhood. I like darkness very much. You can have a deep consideration in the darkness.
