I've always used cold water, as I was told it reduces potential razor burn. The new shaving lotions seem to recommend warm water as it helps dissolve the lotion/gel. Anyone know the real deal? I shave my head as well as my face.

My son is now two and I have been trying to lose weight since I have had my baby. During my pregnancy I gain around 65 pounds; my pre-pregnancy weight was 135. Right now I am 160 and still trying my best t get to at least 140 but it's so hard. As for my tummy, while it's not saggy, it's not as firm as it was before I had my son. Are there any tips that I can follow as it relates to changing my excercise regimen (I do at least 3 times a week: 20 minutes on the stair climber, 20 minutes on the tredmill, and at least 30 miuntes weight training and abdominal work) and diet.

I have a friend who is clinically diagnosed as depressed. At times, she can become unbelievably negative, even about what should be the most positive of things. Is negativity a symptom of depression or is this something unique to her?

My boyfriend and I want to marry, I love him and will never leave him. He is on medication and it controls his symptoms. He has a milder version of the disorder. I have Bipolar II, which is a milder version. I know our kids will most likely have a disorder since it is in both our families. Is there someone out there who loves someone romantically with this disorder who can share tips or cautions or anything that I may not know about triggers or anything?

This may sound daft, but really need some expert advice here. I recently found a swelling on one of my downstairs equipment - well alright testicle, got terrified, got it checked out immediately, and was diagnosed with epididymo-orchitis a swelling of tubes and vessels around the testicle, and given was ciprofloxacin. Now... here's the silly part. I have heard that you can have this kind of swelling of the blood vessel in any part of the body as an allergic reaction to a WASP STING. Now. I have been very careful in my sex life, I'm very hygienic downstairs, but the epididymal reaction only occurred (well on the day I noticed it) on the day I was stung by a wasp, not I must stress on the bollocks (ouch!). Sounds, I know, stupid, but allergic reactions are random, they can engender in the bloodstream, and I'm turning into a hypochondriac. Can anyone enlighten me? AM I MAD? Medical experts only please.....
