So sorry to hear you have been upset.
It may seem like its for no reason but its worth investing some time to see if there is a pattern that may be at the root. I suggest this before the leap to medicine in case there is something you can do for yourself without medication.
Sometimes hormone fluctuations can make you tearful and confused. Maybe keeping a diary of when you feel this way and what else happens will show something?
Not getting out in the bright sunlight can affect people badly too as well as affect your body's ability to create/convert Vit D.
Make sure you are sleeping the right amount and getting enough exercise. If you still feel bad, see your doctor and take your diary with you so you can explain how long it has been going on etc if you are still upset.
Best wishes to you. IQ.

Yes, it's depression caused by the stress of misunderstanding or being misunderstood by those around you. Often the sense of isolation is heightened around a certain time of the month and/or aroung the time of a full moon (I'm not kidding about this - it's been scientifically proven) I too would suffer bouts of uncontrollable tears, that were really acting as a safety valve to keep me just this side of a nervous breakdown.
You could go to your doctors for anti-depressants but this is not a long term fix, and...before you do, check out your diet and see if you can't make it a little more healthy (lots and lots of fresh fruit and veg and stuff) because if you eat crap - you feel crap and a lot of foods contain mood enchancing vitamins that might just help put a stop to your low spots.
I'm sorry for you - it's a shi**y thing to suffer
You're not alone
Good luck x

Yes you are perfectly normal, assuming that you are a female and have reached puberty. There is a condition called Premenstural Stress (PMS) that we women "suffer" from. It is as a result of changing hormones levels in the body just before a period. Can I tell you, I have been around a while and from time to time I cry for no reason at all. The trick is to try to manage PMS with diet and exercise. Please go to the following link for more info. All the best!

Well Perfect, I am gonna guess that you are a woman in your 30's maybe late 20's. Because it has recently started to happen to me too. Noone ever told me about it. I went and asked a Pharmacist what I could do. she told me to take Pamprin Multi Symptom. The other PMS pills offer nothing for irritability. Even though it's not really that you are irritable, it works. Try It. If you are not a woman in your 30's go see a Dr. about depression.

There are many triggers buried within the subconscious mind..They will cause a response or reaction. One that you cannot understand the reason for it occuring. Often being expressed by body language also. These are emotions that may have been there since childhood. There is a way to have them eliminated. Without waiting for them to appear accidentally at the conscious level.

Could it be hormonal? You don't give your age, but hormones can cause mood swings.
See a doctor and ask for bloodwork etc. to rule out physical causes.
If you've been under stress, crying can be a safety valve. Decrease your caffiene intake, and try soothing herbal teas such as chamomile and linden to calm you down.
Make sure you're getting enough sleep. Sleep deprivation can make anyone feel fragile as you're too tired to deal with things.

It's not normal on a daily basis. Probably best to talk to your Dr. then be evaluated, see if you are in need of any mental counseling or medications. Try to eliminate excess stress and ask yourself if there any obvious contributors to your crying and being upset. Crisis, family history of bipolar disorder....

It's very normal - its called depression. I have spells like this every now and then but have learnt to recognise them and fight the symptoms. The best thing you can do is write down all your feelings if you feel you can't sit and talk to someone - just make sure you get them out of your system. Good luck x

Eat an apple. It takes a while to digest. It counteracts anything in your bloodstream or at least impedes it if you have been exposed to something or have been dosed with something you, personally are not aware of or have given consent to. No. It is not normal. The fact this is up here tell me you, however, are normal.
