My thought is that since I don't eat until a couple of hours before bed, I probably shouldn't eat very much for supper. But I've heard it's better to start the day off slowly with mild foods. I sometimes eat a few teaspoons of peanut butter for lunch, but that's about it. I always eat breakfast and then I'm just not hungry for lunch, and too tired to eat as soon as I get home. (I know, I have bad eating habits.)
