You should eat breakfast, it's the most important meal of the day. It's your fuel to get you through. You should really eat about every 3 hours. It keeps your insulin levels in your body @ a steady rate & your body can only use so many calories per hour. If you eat a huge breakfast & no lunch you body learns to store fat. It's best to make healthy choices & do it in moderation even if it's fat free. Fat free= more calories so sometimes its better to eat the real deal.

Calories know no time. Not eating before bed has been proven wrong..even though Oprah does it. Its a myth. I read it on msnbc news the other day. And, that makes sense. In fact, you burn around 500 calories just by sleeping overnight! You should eat all throughout the day or night..small meals. It keeps your sugar levels evened out and you dont get hungry. You dont have to eat breakfast right when you get up either. Just eat 2-3 hours after you wake up or whenever you get hungry. The reason for eating breakfast is so that when lunch or dinner approach, your not starving and end up gorging over your food. All myths..people just repeat what they hear and figure its the truth.

I have the same problem, but have found that if I eat a big breakfast (7am), I don't eat lunch until like 2pm and its like a sandwich or cup of soup, somthing small. Then I eat dinner around 7 or 8pm and will eat at least 3 things like meat, veggies and bread or potatoe or rice.
That seems to work for me. I then go to bed around 11pm and am hungry for breakfast when I wake up.

What is healthier depends on what foods are included in each meal so I am afraid I can not tell you to which option I should tell you as you are considering. Just reminding you though that eating 3 square meals a day with a good balance diet is the healthiest. Don't let your eating habits compromise your health.

Technically, you should be eating a small healthy meal every three hours.
It breaks down like this: Grazers vs Gorgers
Bears are big and fat and generally unfit because they consume large quantities of food then store it as fat.
Horses are lean and strong because they eat all day, and their digestive system never 'panics'.
You see, mammals' bodies tend to go into 'panic mode' when food is not consumed regularly... The result of this is that available calories are stored as fat for use later.
Small, healthy, frequent meals, in conjunction with a fair amount of activity, is the healthiest way to eat.
No joke. Google Grazers and Gorgers

Life is Short. Eat what you want. Not my idea. Not a bad one. Come on . There's enough books on the market, information. Information. It's all there for you. Oops, sorry books. Did I say books. Do you know what books are? Read them slowly and you'll be fine.
