i need to lose weight and i love healthy food but i get really bad sugar cravings and NEED something sweet, i will also skip meals and pick on sweet things and cereal can anyone give me any advise on how to stop these cravings? i tried all sorts of pills and things. HELP PLEASE !!!

I had my surgery last monday, i was starting to feel better, less and less pain. Now, just starting yesterday, 5 days after my surgery, the left side of my throat hurts when absoultely anything goes down. Especially the pain medicine. Is this normal? Is the scab coming off and thats why it hurts so much, or should i call the doctor?

I am suffering from PHIMOSIS, i.e., Penile my foreskin doesnot retract. It gives me lots of problem while having sex, sometimes it bleeds. for the last couple of months I haven't been eating too good.I quit drinkingand have increased the amount of cigarettes I smoke as a sort of consolation I think.Maybe thi is the reason.I probably eat the equivalent of 2 sanwiches a day and eating is becoming a chore.Should I be concerned?

About a month and a half ago I had an ear infection which also included a really bad sore throat, cough, etc. I was put on antibiotics and right away the sore throat and cough went away. The hearing problem did not. I was on the antibiotics for 20 days. About 2 weeks after that I got sick again with a really bad sore throat. After a couple days of that I decided I couldn't take it so I went back to the doctor. They said I had a bacteria infection and gave me more antibiotics. I was on those for 5 days. They seemed to help. Right now I feel like a sore throat is coming back. Should I go back to the doctor? I don't think it's even safe for a person to be on antibiotics for so long. Are there any natural remedies to cure a bacteria infection/sore throat?

There is no discharge or whatsoever, just itch. I have asked a question like this but most of the people told me it could be yeast infection. I read about Yeast Infection and know that I have to produce discharge in order to mark it as Yeast Infection. What could it be if its not Yeast Infection? I've not visit the doctor yet as I'm still rather busy at home and also thinking of cheaper alternative like self medication or so. Another useful detail, as I was sick for quite some time suffering from flu. My gp gave me a 15 days course of antibiotics, could it be the antibiotics?

Hello, when going for a colonoscopy, I must first be "flushed out" so to speak using laxative preparation such as Golitely.
If you have had the preparation before, you'll know that you must drink this awful stuff. I have had more colonoscopies than I care to count, and every time my stomach has rejected all varieties of the preparation, so they do the alternative, which is a nasal gastric tube whre they pump it directly into my digestive tract through a nasal tube.
Now, call me a coward if you want, but that procedure is the single most nightmarish thing I have ever had to experience in my life. I have had TERRIBLE things done to me in the course of my health, and this is the one thing I cannot stand. I can't bring myself to do it anymore. They have tried to make me just not eat for 3 days before the colonoscopy and that SORT of worked, but it wasn't very thorough and thus caused difficulties.
So my question is, does anyone know of a more palatable way to be flushed for a colonoscopy?

for the past couple days, my mid/lower back will randomly start to hurt pretty badly. i'm only 14 so i don't have problems that older people would have, and i haven't been doing anything that i don't usually do, and i haven't hurt myself at all lately. but my spine will just kind of lock up all of a sudden and hurt pretty badly, especially to bend over it will hurt. i am basically just wondering if anybody has any thoughts/answers/ideas/etc... thank you!
