Some do. It depends on whether we are fat due mostly to genetic heritage (like me; I'm Pennsylvania Dutch), or due to overeating and under-exercising (well, that's me, too, actually). The skeleton tends to grow, but in a distorted fashion, to support the extra weight. A person who is slim as a child and only gets fat after they are adult (like many women who only get fat after they are married) will had additional problems because their skeleton is not adapted to all that weight.

Some people's bodies just naturally put on weight. If we work very hard, or do vigorous exercise of some sort, there will be a lot of muscle and not much fat. My hard-working farmer and craftsmen ancestors were like that. They said, "A fat wife and a full barn never did any man harm." But when automation meant we did not have to work so hard, we had establish traditions of eating big and very specifically, lots of sugary and fatty foods. (See my 360 page for recipes under the title "Why the Pennsylvania Dutch are All Fat.") So some of us learned new dietary habits (I did, somewhat), and some of us developed other ways to burn off the calories, such as athletics or dancing, but most of us just got fat. Really fat. My sister's sister-in-law had to be buried in a piano crate!

RE:
Do fat people have a more big skeleton too?

No, not necessarily, skeleton mass differs from one individual to the other, fat people have simply more fat tissue than others, but they can have weak bones too if there is not enough calcium for them to devellop a strong bone mass

well, if you consider a northern european and a sub-sahara african...
you'll see the northern european has more fat on average...because it's freaking cold. And freaking hot in sub-sahara africa.
Northern europeans also tend to have heavier bones.

However, that's a generalisation. And it does not say anything about people who have more fat then they would have with a less...urban...lifestyle.
Tough luck for all those fat americans out there.

Since losing my weight, I have more confidence. I am more physically active, and I'm not afraid to take on physical challenges. For example, I have run 10Ks, learned how to snow-ski, and recently participated in a mud run. Losing the weight has also given me the strength to do something I never thought I would be qualified for, and that is teach a self-esteem class for a nonprofit organization.
