There is no discharge or whatsoever, just itch. I have asked a question like this but most of the people told me it could be yeast infection. I read about Yeast Infection and know that I have to produce discharge in order to mark it as Yeast Infection. What could it be if its not Yeast Infection? I've not visit the doctor yet as I'm still rather busy at home and also thinking of cheaper alternative like self medication or so. Another useful detail, as I was sick for quite some time suffering from flu. My gp gave me a 15 days course of antibiotics, could it be the antibiotics?

one of the SYMPTOMS of a yeast infection is discharge...you can still have a yeast infection if there is no discharge. The only way to be sure you don't have a yeast infection is to see your doctor. It might be a yeast infection caused by antibiotics but you won't know until you go to the doctor. It needs to be treated.

One of the main causes of yeast infection is antibiotics. You do not have to have a discharge to have a yeast infection.

You no longer need a prescription for this medicine. Monistat is for yeast infection. Walmart has their own brand, Equate of the same medicine and it is only about 20% of the cost of monistat.

Eat some natural yogurt also. The bacteria in yogurt help kill yeast. Keep your vaginal area clean. The heat can worsen a yeast infection and can also be a cause.

If you are not happy with your doctors findings then get a second opinion. But being where the problem is I would contact your ob/gyn doctor for a different perspective.
