Started with melanoma on the leg, further tests and bone marrow biopsy show lymphoma in the bone. Two enlarged Lymph nodes, one confirmed with biopsy that it is follicular lymphoma that is transforming into fast growing, but is usually slow growing.
My friend has not been given a treatment plan yet, but was wondering about alternative treatments

I got caught around the same age, and my father made me eat a cigarette(1970's), I don't want to do that to him, I was thinking of lighting a cigarette and letting him smoke as many as he wants, that way he'll get sick and be discouraged?
I don't smoke, his father does and all of his grandparents.

My mother is 70 years old & I've been taking her to the Dr a lot lately. They've done a lot of blood tests & an MRI (for other health reasons). It wasn't until after her last appointment that I noticed her ankles are awfully swollen. I'll mention this to the Dr on her next appt, but that's not until next week. I was hoping someone could give me an idea what could possibly cause this. Thank you (only serious answers, please)

I have servere depression (I believe it's called clinical depression). I am completely fed up with feeling this way, and have been this way for the last 6 years. I kept thinking that it would get better, but it's obviouse that it's not.

I'm going to be 25 yrs old in November and I realize that there are so many things that I would have wanted to accomplish by now, but my depression has prevented this.

I keep reading about how depression is caused by 'chemical imbalances' in the brain, and it feels like I don't stand a chance at beating it without going on Anti-depressants, but I don't want to go down this route cause I'm worried about the side-effects.

Can anyone suggest natural ways to beat depression that don't involve medication?

Do you think chamomile tea helps? My wife likes a glass of red wine. I have tried massage and a foot spa for my aching feet as well as a cold, dark room and heavy blankets. My doctor once suggested going to bed earlier and earlier, half-an-hour every night from the time I fall asleep till I find the right early time. This was stupid and didn't work. I no longer bake at 5 a.m. in the morning and have traded that in for cleaning shifts two days a week because of my broken ankle. What do you think?
