is it weird if lets say you are in the middle of a thunder-storm that has been right ontop of your house for about 20 minutes and you turn on the computer sit down and suddenly get a HUGE headache almost like a migrane?

No really, that happens to me with the weather, but not the computer part. It's not exactly smart to turn on your computer during a thunderstorm. You could fry it. If anything, you should unplug it...

First, turn off and unplug the computer from the outlet AND unplug the cable or phone line you use for Internet access. If lightning strikes the power system or any other wires entering your computer, your system could become a great paperweight, and it could even blow up if the hit is powerful enough.

As for your headache, I agree. Probably something to do with the fact that the air pressure has dropped significantly.

barometric pressure (which increases during stormy weather) has been known to cause headaches with some people...if it's not that, then it could just be the increased stress and/or adrenaline from the experience of the storm.

It has something to do with the weather...NO SH*T...My friend will not use his laptop if it's raining and specially when it is lighting...So it's not really weird
