Health - 12 July 2006

Just wondering what it could be. I had an internal exam the past two weeks and I am 2cm Dialated and 80% efaced. I didn't bleed with the first internal and with this one the beeding was like a period not just spotting. Some friends say it is my mucus plug others say the start of labor... Just wondering what you think. And if you have any experience in this area I'd really appreciate the advice! Thanks! P.S. along with the bleeding I have been having a crampy feeling in my tummy. It is not low in my pelvis it is like at the bottom of my ribs... Any Idea what that could be?

The 12 year old is 5 feet and the 7 year old is about 4 feet. Give or take a few inches.

Before answering, think about this .... in the medical field, employees are to always assume all paitents have infectious dieases, even, AIDS, so we are to protect ourselves...but int he heat of the moment, someone may be dying..would you stop and wonder about protecting yourself..before helping someone else....????

I get migraine headaches. When I don't catch them in time to take my medication I go numb. Everything on my face, arms, legs, and chest. Does anyone else get this? Does this sound normal? What do you do when it happens. Could it be something else?

I lost my right foot about 2 years ago. I have heard that at Texas Institute they are 'playing' around with a new development to help amputees. They are calling it a bio-hybrid, which will supposedly eliminate the need for the socket of a prosthetic leg. Has anyone else heard of this and if so where can I find more information?

pvc's and heart flops can be very scary! does anyone else out there have the same thing. i can acually feel my heart flop sometimes..like somedays i have good days and some i have are bad days . and today is a bad day ..i can acually feel skips and flops..i do see a cardiologist he has ran an echocardiogram and had me wear a holter monitor they passed with flying colors ...the feeling is just very scary i just want to know that im not alone! somtimes they even take my breath.
