I get migraine headaches. When I don't catch them in time to take my medication I go numb. Everything on my face, arms, legs, and chest. Does anyone else get this? Does this sound normal? What do you do when it happens. Could it be something else?

Because most migraines are vascular in nature, it's quite common to experience tingling or numbness. There are different types of migraines, I suffer from Hemiplegic migraines where the symptoms mimic a stroke. My left side becomes paralyzed, my speech is garbled, and I'm confused (more than normal).
Don't rely on advice from strangers on this one.... get to a neurologist and make sure you are truly dealing with a migraine.

You're not alone.. I have these same type of migraines, they're called "HemiPlegic" migraines. Symptoms can sometimes mimic a Stroke, but no permanent damage will remain after the attack has subsided. Be really careful of the medications you take, as some are not indicated if you have HemiPlegic episodes. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.

No it doesn't seem normal, you might need to go to a specialist and get it checked out it might be something serious.
