My husband used to be able to drink beer, and really enjoyed it. A couple of years ago, he would sometimes get extremely hot and flushed after drinking certain beers. Now, it has progressed to where he can't drink any type of beer without SEVERE heartburn/reflux. Could this be an allergic reaction? To what, exactly? Can we treat it?

1) On your stomach
2) On your back
3) On your side

I feel most comfortable sleeping on my stomach even though I have to turn my head. Women's Prevention magazine said that one should sleep on their back and avoid sleeping on their side because sleeping on the side smushes ur face and causes wrinkles. However, sleeping on ur back is most uncomfortable. What do you think?

For as long as i can remember i have been terrified of clowns and sometimes jesters etc, depending on how much makeup they have on. People say that this fear sems from a bad experience when you were younger but i have never had any! I started going to a chiropractor. He is very nice and personable, very easy going. Each visit, while he adjusts me, we talk about family, life, etc. My husband is also a patient of his. The last visit I had, once we went to the reception area and scheduled a follow up appt., he walked to me and hugged me. The receptionist appeared to be in "shock" by it (her mouth dropped and she looked away), there were other patients in the room also. It didnt really freak me out but obviously I have questions about it. Dont know if I should approach the doctor with it, stop going to him or just write it off as him being just a nice friendly man.
