I did atkins and have lost 8lbs in 2 weeks. Just cut your carbs to 20 a day, and cut your calorie intake by 500. Heavier people lose more weight I have read. You also need to start exercising. Do 20-30 min of cardio 3-5 times a week. After the 2 week period if you want to lose more weight...up your carbs by 5 a week and watch your weight loss. It is trial and error to find out how many carbs you can consume and maintain the weight you want so weigh yourself everyday. And if you think about cheating know this...I decided to cheat in the middle of the 2 weeks and ate 3 pieces of pizza. Got very ILL. Your Body doesn't hand carb overload well so I would avoid cheating at all costs! It is a pretty strict diet but it works!

Something like Atkins or South Beach will help you lose weight quickly but you need to really commit to it for a long time or you will gain back weight and mess up your metabolism. Body for Life is really good if you are able to do the exercises. The best is probably Weight watchers (you ccan do it online) for perminant weight lose but you will only lose about 2 to 3 pounds a week. Don't take pills!! They mess up your metabolism and most of them dont really work. Good luck but remember that eating healthy and exercising are the only ways to stay at a good weight and be healthy.

Try watching what you eat. Take your weight and multiply it by 100 and that is how many calories you are taking in. You need to reduce it by 2000. Try eating oatmeal, grapefruit and other fruits for breakfast. Eat one of the SmartChoice, WeightWatchers or HealthyChoice lunches. Then, eat one of the dinners made by one of those listed above. It's been working for me (i've lost 5 pounds) plus you need to exercise even if it is walking up and down the street. And absolutely NO SNACKING!!!! Good Luck

start off by drinking only water no pop or junk like that eat small meals and try to run at least 5 miles a day the exercise will help you slim down and the water will push all the impurity's out of your system and stay away from fast food it goes straight to your butt and if you can stomach drinking pickle juice it will help detoxify your body too. also stay away from breads and high carb foods you need to have a little in your diet but don't eat to many

I lost 30 pounds in 30 days just by not eating carbs. Also I drank water instead of pop and when I did drink pop I drank diet Mt. Dew or diet Dr. Pepper. Good Luck!

Eat five really short meals, thst way you digestive system works faster and burn calories faster. For example, eat half a sandwich, or salad (no dressing) with crakers, for lunch. Milk shake in the morning and sleamed chicken with steamed veggies for dinner and healthy snacks in between.Take a walk in ythe mornings, thats relaxing and also your excersing your heart.

there is no other way to loose weight and keep it off. quick fix diets DO NOT work.
