I have a really good friend who once weighed 350 lbs. She is now down to 149 lbs. It took her a little over 2 years to lose it following a crazy diet, as well as strenuous exercise. I don't know what her mind set is like right now, but she looks like a walking zombie. She is constantly allowing herself so many calories a day. Every friday she will eat out, but that is the only day she lets herself be 'free' from all that mess. I ask her if she will hang it up and start to eat just a little more than 1200 calories a day, but she insists she must get the last 5 remaining lbs off. And... the 5 remaining lbs aren't off yet. Isn't her body trying to tell her something? You can't expect loose skin to disappear following a diet. That is all that's left. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also, her doctor says she must lose the last 5 lbs, but he must be a wack case. Or, she could be lieing to me to get me to shut up about it.
Thanks!
