Before everyone posts answers claiming how a B12 shot at their doctor's office helped them, keep in mind that B12 will only help you if you are anemic due to a B12 deficiency. If you think you may be anemic - see your doctor for a blood test.

Otherwise, no vitamin will actually give you energy, but if you think that your diet needs improvement, just pick up a multivitamin & take 1 a day. Taking individual vitamins often leads to too much of the vitamin in your system which can cause serious problems.

B vitamins are great for energy. However, usually a good multi-vitamin is best for overall energy and nutrition.

B12. shots are great for some, but it comes in pill form too. Some places have a red jelly in a tube to ingest & i think they have a nasal spray now. A multi B vitamin is great cause u get the best off all the b's and u pee out what your body dont use!

People sometimes get confused, vitamins and minerals do not give energy they just give your body nutrition.

However there are several energy drinks and there are herbal products such as ginseng

Hope this helps.

you also need lot of carbs which you need to eat. i know all these diets are saying no carbs but that is your main energy provider. just grab a bowl of pasta and some garlic bread and your good to go.

those emergen-C's are amazing. you can get them at CVS in the vitamin isle or at GNC. i run an average of about 5 miles everyday and i am a girl so i need every bit of energy i can get. my cross-country coach makes me drink them every morning. they come in a box of about 36 and and look like cool-aid packets. just mix them in your water or gatorade and be ready to bounce off the walls!!!
