I used to have the exact same problem. It is because during sex, bacteria from your anus, around your vulva, and from your boyfriend's parts gets pushed up into your urethra and multiply. You can decrease your chances of getting an infection by peeing after sex (within 5 minutes or so) and making sure you both wash well every day. If you're still having problems after this, you can both wash directly before sex. Good luck I know they are not fun to have!

One of the main culprits of bladder infections, post-sexual intercourse is hygiene.

It may not be the most romantic post interlude to immediately engage, but a quick warm water soapy wash decreases the chance of urinary/bladder tract infections.

You probably are getting a urinary tract infection or Cystitis. Always try to urinate before and after sex... this will help keep bacteria from entering your urethra

I get them most of the time after sex. I always take a shower and it prevents it from happening.

It's very common, bacteria is pushed up into the urethra during sexual activity. Some positions are better for preventing this problem. Doggie is one.

Try urinating right after sex, it helps wash out bacteria. Make sure your guy is clean.
