I am kind of deciding whether or not i want to eat eggs, i am still in school and everything (not college) and my mother says i need them for protein and all that, but it is still basically a dead animal. i am going to be a vegan in a few years once i move out, but it is kind of hard to cut out of my diet. and if i did stop eating eggs, what should i eat to replace them?

Is it ok to eat the stuffing out of a turkey? because my family is not vegetarian and every year they put the stuffing inside the turkey and cook it then eat. This is my first year as a vegetarian, so i don't know what to do. I have already had to change so many normal things in our christmas dinner and i feel kind of left out and bad if i change this one as well. Is it ok to eat it or will it have the meat juices or something in it? even though it does gross me out a bit to have to.

I am a vegetarian, however I do not enforce what i have chosen on to other members of my family, especialy my son. I let him eat meat but I feel that make me no less of a vegetarian.

what i want to know is why SOME vegetarians and vegans have to enforce this onto others? and what honstetly does this achieve?
I love animals to but some of these past questions are animal activists wanting some sort of revenge on the world full of meat eaters. I believe in balance otherwise we will be over popualted with cows ect and can you imagine the stink,. (mind you would probably be able to fuel a car just on the smell)

I like my special label, that's all. So tell me what is the exact percentage of my diet that meat has to make up to cross the border from the regular omnivore to the special elite flexitarian? I really need to know.

In many questions and anwsers, many people are justify to eat meat because it is also bad to kill a growing plant. So my question is : do you really believe a plant can feel pain? Can feel scared? Can feel hapyness? Can feel compassionate? If yes, it is just a feeling you have or you have serious sources?

I know that I've always wanted to become vegetarian, but since I don't eat enough vegetables, I havn't been able to do it. On top of that, I don't even like meat anyways. It does not taste good at all! So these past few weeks, I've found myself eating barely any meat. I eat maybe two bites every several days. But the thing is, I'm not eating much of anything else either!
What kinds of things should I be eating to ensure that I'm eating right?

they use terms like vegan cheese or tofu-turkey, don't they know those words are made up, cheese has to come from milk and turkey, true turkey or cheese cannot come from a kind of soya bean.

I'm a vegan for my own personal morals
i dont think its right to kill millions of animals, steal their milk, eggs, babies, and even fishing threw factory farming and torture.

BUT i mean, being a vegan, i feel isnt enough
how is ONE person who is vegan going to stop all this

I want to do more and change more, but i have no idea how
Do you vegans out there ever feel the same?
dont you ever wonder how just being vegan isn't helping much?
i mean the tourture is still going to happen and stuff?

i'd just like to know if there is anyone else out there that feels the same

and also ways in which u can ACTUALLY take action and help

thanks

So, my new years resolution is to go veg. Seriously. Before you say "oh my gosh Jen what happened to you" or "oh my gosh Jen that will only last 2 days you practically are a hamburger" hear me out.

I've done the whole vegetarian thing before. It did only last 2 days because I did it for the wrong reasons. This time I'm doing it for myself, not because "my friends will think I'm cool".

I've always felt that certain animals were put on this planet for us to consume. Survial of the fittest. But in no way shape or form were animals put here for us to use, abuse, mutate, mutilate, and torture. This whole need of mass production for mass consumption is not at all how God inteded us to treat his creatures.

I've always been an animal lover and because of this I've downright ignored the facts. Everytime I hear a story I change the subject. But by ignoring these facts I've just been handing over money to the people who are doing the things I abhor.

I am a vegetarian (no meat, and no eggs/milk). I'm running out of things to eat! Any good recipes? Also, what is a replacement for eggs?
