I'm so sick of my diet that consits of fruit, crackers, cereal, sweet bread, juice, bagels, cheese I need something better
I do exercise I haven't gain any weight but I don't want to eat like this I haven't had a decent meal in a long time.
I don't eat fast food or junk food. It would be nice to get a vegan meal plan one without milk products. Thank you very much.

I went to Pei Wei and they have a list of meals that are vegetarian if you have tofu instead of meat and their curry wasn't vegetarian(I realized this after I ate it)! Was it a mistake? I looked at the other ingredaints and they were all vegan.

I feal stupid but what exactly IS curry?

I'm vegetarian & cannot understand why some Vegans/Vegetarians are so judgemental and critical of Omnivores.
This is an observation, not a critique of any one person.
It's so bad in this forum that it reminds me of Ex-Smokers criticising Smokers for continuing to smoke. All the questions that qualify people's eating habits IE "Would you consider this person a veg/vegan if..."
What's up with that?
It's so high-horsey, it invites the Carnivores to make mischief.
It's divisive and seems crazy to me.
Why should I care what other people eat ?
Or why should I care if I measure up to someone elses' measure of High vegetarianism?
I have never been attacked or critisized for being veg, but I do hear and see a lot of self-righteous comments from Vegs/Vegans. How will this help others to want to join us and prevent animal cruelty and help improve human health?
Good luck

I plan on adding fats from high fat vegetables, nuts, seeds and healthy oils. My main protein source will be from assorted brown and wild rices, along with an assortment of high protein beans for a complete amino acid profile.

I think it should be possible. Any advice or experienced opinions out there!

Macaroni and cheese (made with whole wheat noodles, a little butter and some cheese powder) mixed with fried mushrooms and onions, and sliced up green olives. Topped with a little cayenne pepper, pepper and parmesean cheese.

After all this pet food scandal, a question to vegetarians and vegans ONLY! (We don't need any comments by people who are not concerned by this matter)
Do you have pets? And do you feed them meat/fish or veggie pet food? I believe pets are carnivores by nature, and then again, how natural are dogs and cats after living with humans throughout centuries? I would love to hear the opinion of a vet or breeder who feeds vegan or vegetarian pet food. I have heard it exists for dogs, but have never seen it for cats (we live in London/UK). I feed fish to my cats, and sometimes rice with veggies and tofu, which they eat as well. I am not sure however if this is right for them. I hate the idea of buying canned meat, and also the fish doesn't make me feel any better. What do you give to your dogs and cats?

about the sources of vitamins in "enriched" products, such as rice, wheat (flour) cereals, pasta, etc? Due to allergies, I have been researching vitamins, and have found that many are derived from animal sources. I spoke with several major manufacturers that confirmed this. Does anyone have information on this? I have found loads of conflicting information, but so far the answer points to yes, enriched products contain animal derivatives. So many common foods are "enriched" or contain ingredients that are enriched, such as processed foods and I am super curious about this. I appreciate any info

I wouldn't be surprised if the current pet food recall turns out to be due to tainted meat. The same animals are used for human consumption as are for cat and dog food. What do you think?

This is my first Passover being vegan, and I'm looking for ideas since my food choices are very limited. The things we *cannot* eat on passover are: flour containing products including satien (except mazah, which cannot get wet), beans (including soybeans, so that leaves out all tofu and tempeh), peas, rice, corn...please help with any ideas!!! thanks! :)

Hi folks! My fiancee and I are having a few Vegan guests attend our wedding. We already have a few special diets, so adding a few Vegans aren't a problem, but the venue might be.

We're having it at a very rustic place and there are literally nearly 100 mounted animals heads of all kinds (elk, deer, buffalo, bear, wolves, etc...) around. We were going to warn them anyways, but is that something that Veganism is about? Or is it just the food? (I have to admit, they are some of the healthiest people that we know!)

A number of signatures need to be collected in a petition ( http://getactive.peta.org/campaign/http://getactive.peta.org/campaign/seal_hunt07 ) to stop the barbaric seal pup hunt in Canada, before the hunt begins.
How much time do we have before the hunt begins?
Will you please help by signing the letter?

hi i invited a Hindu friend to come eat sushi, but she said eating seaweed is not permitted..why is this? i've tried researching on the net about it, but i didnt ask her directly what sector of Hinduism she follows.. so i'm hoping to have my question answered in none other than India!
She does not eat egg products either, if this helps identify which sector she follows.
