I guess I'm confused but what are the differences between being a vegetarian or a vegan? I only eat fish and small amounts of poultry. Someone said I was a vegetarian-is that true?

I absolutely love green tea, and before I became a vegetarian (I still eat eggs and dairy products), I drank a lot of it, about 6 cups a day. Now that I am a vegetarian, I am concerned about the absorption of iron from my meals being disrupted by the tannins in the tea since the tannins tend to bind with the non-haem irons. So my question is, how often can I drink tea and how long should I wait before and after meals to drink tea?

I know they have meat... yes I do.

But before I take a trip there, do they have a variety of meatless vegetarian replacements? Like Boca, Morningstar, Amy's... etc.?

I need to find a place that does. My local supermarkets only have like burgers, and the natural food store by my house only has a few things.

THANKS!

Is it OK to put my 15 month old on soy or rice milk?My 3 year old seems to get stomach cramps from regular milk so I'm thinking of starting him on that and was wondering if I could do the same for my 15 month old.

I found some great high-protein meat-replacements, like Yve's, Boca, and Morning Star. I've been thinking about using tofu and tempe too. Does anyone else have any other ideas, suggestions, etc? Thanks!
