Try this.. not too healthy though.

Warm a pan them add some butter/olive oil (so as not to burn the butter), lots of chopped onions, salt and pepper; saute until slightly brown then add chopped cabbage -- about a med. head -- add cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, creole seasoning and whatever flavors you like that go with spicy seasoning, some hot sauce and continue to cook for 50-70 minutes. Nice and spicy.

1. Raw Vegan Curried Cabbage Salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 head green cabbage, chopped
1/3 cup shredded flaked coconut (be sure its raw, if needed)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce (if raw, use Nama Shoyu)
3 tbsp sesame seeds
1/3 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp curry
1/2 tsp cumin

PREPARATION:
In a large bowl, toss together all ingredients, making sure cabbage is evenly coated.
If possible, chill for at least an hour and toss thoroughly again before serving. This will allow all the flavors to mingle and blend

2. Sweet Cabbage Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS:
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 red onion, chopped
2 tbsp balsamic or red wine vinegar
3 tbsp olive oil
1/3 head green cabbage
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
approx. 2 cups fresh broccoli
1/4 tsp salt
3.4 tsp garlic powder
water, if needed

PREPARATION:
In wok or large skillet, sautee onions and garlic in olive oil until onions are soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add broccoli and balsamic, cover for 3 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Add rest of ingredients and stir fry about 3 more minutes, adding a bit of water to retain moisture if stir fry becomes too dry. Cabbage should still be softened but still slightly crisp when finished. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Saute large dice onion, sliced garlic, large dice celery, in olive oil. Chop large pieces of cabbage (green or red) and have it ready. When the vegetables are just soaking up the oil put in the cabbage. Add 1/2 cup vegetable stock and cover. Simmer on low until done. Serve with topping of red pepper flakes, sesame oil and toasted walnuts. You can stir some Hoisin Sauce in with the broth but just a little.

This is sort of a vegetarian spin-off of an Asian recipe. It seems a little odd but it tastes great, especially for fans of Asian food. Simple and cheap!
1/2 head of green cabbage, sliced into thick strips
2 eggs
1 T water
1 T Soy Sauce or Maggi brand cooking seasoning
1 t salt

-Hard-boil the eggs.
-Boil the cabbage for as long as it takes to boil the eggs or until it is tender and sweet, not mushy and gross!
-Drain, and put the cabbage on a plate. shell the eggs and put them in a small bowl.
-coarsely chop the eggs while they are in the bowl.
-Add salt, water, and soy sauce to the eggs and mix with chopsticks (or any utensil, really, i just like using chopsticks)
-Enjoy the cabbage and eggs together! (I like taking some of the egg and wrapping it up in a strip of the boiled cabbage and eating them with my hands!)

Coarsely cut up cabbages, cucumbers and avocados... toss in a salad bowl... then sprinkle on lime juice for a zesty taste! Voila' a great change in salads!
There is also a really good Cabbage soup recipe that is all veggies! It has cut cabbage, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, and whatever seasonings and spices you want to add in... it is also good for dieting I hear! Good luck!
