I know that veggie hot dogs taste similar to real hot dogs. Or chicken-free nuggets like similar to the real ones. But are there ever any invention of imitation mock meats that actually taste exactly like the dead thing?

Why are some meaties getting so freaked out by the 2% of the population that's vegetarian? Sounds like major insecurity issues here! You eat your dead animal and let me eat what I want, OK?

I have read several pages of info on various types of juicing machines but it's always good to get the opinions of real time people with real experience with products. Can anyone in Yahoo land give real testimonies about juicing products. Not necessarily the off the shelf Wal*mart brands, unless there exists some durable machines. Thanks.

I have been looking into vegetarianism. All I seem to find are horror stories of people dying for lack of B12. Is this a real issue? If so, how do the Indians stay alive considering many of them have had this diet for a few thousand years?

I'm a vegan looking for a new purse! I have a small, partial pleather purse now that I happened to run across in a store, but I need a bigger one and all the veg*n purses I see online are expensive! Can anyone give me a website or a store name or even a brand I can look at? Thanks a lot!

My husband and I eat out so much- spend a lot of $$$! I would like to find some really simple menus that I can shop for and prepare at night. I know how to make tacos and the old faithfull spagetti - that gets real old after a while. We have no children - so we don't have to make a lot each night!
Thanks

I need some vegan recipes that I can make to have at a baby shower. I am looking for inexpensive recipes to make, such as using rice, beans, etc and not using any mock meats or anything. Thanks for any ideas!

I couldn’t help but realize that I give out the “least healthy” recipes on this site.
:)

So I am hoping to get YOUR favorite healthy (and yummy!) vegan recipe. I often use rice and noodles and other carb-heavy dinners and would like something lighter.

I do not have much free time, so it cannot be some extended quisine.

And I am awary of various, wonderful recipe sites, but I wold really love to hear one of your favorite healthy dishes.

Thanks a lot.

P.S. If your favorite healthy/yummy dish isn’t exactly vegan, tell me anyway; I will know how to make it vegan… unless it has fish… no good vegitarian replacement for fish that I know of.

I'm 15 and I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for about a year, and I've been feeling kind of tired lately and I think it's because I'm not getting my correct amount of nutrients. I take a multivitamin from GNC whenever I remember, which isn't often, and I don't eat very much during the weekdays. I have been eating little to nothing during school lately because I've been skipping my lunch period in order to work in the library for Service Learning Hours, which I need to graduate. I'll be going to the doctor soon and, when I do, I'll tell him about this. Should I stick to my old multivitamin, which I don't think is a very good supplement, or should I take something else? If so, what should I take? What vitamins work well?
