I'm a vegan looking for a new purse! I have a small, partial pleather purse now that I happened to run across in a store, but I need a bigger one and all the veg*n purses I see online are expensive! Can anyone give me a website or a store name or even a brand I can look at? Thanks a lot!

For some reason I was so caught up on looking for the intentionally veg*n friendly stuff that I forgot about the regular old good, cheap purses at regular old stores, lol. Thanks!

You can actually find inexpensive vegan friendly purses at most malls and department stores. Just check the label. I've found some cute, good quality "pleather" purses at discount stores like Ross, prices usually ranging between $10- $30 depending on the size. Target also usually carries a pretty cool selection of non-leather purses.

Try Target, I can't think of the name of the purses at the moment, but I know what you are talking about. I am pretty sure I saw some there and they were inexpensive.

TARGET..many of their purses are Vinyl they just look like leather. I pick one up recently for $16.00 Yopu see the difference in prices, real leather purse are much more expensive. PLUS right now fabric purses are really IN, you find lots of them Taget, Walmart, Kohls, Pennys..cute too.

Yup, big-box stores like Target and Wal-Mart are good; also try Payless Shoes and other bargain chain stores. It's not as difficult as it used to be to find ethical shoes and bags.

Ebay is always a good place to find some...also if you go on Target.com and look under the clearance there, they have a section that is 75% off..hope it helps.

im sorry, i imagine all the designers use leather-depending. it rly smells strong. oh and props to you for being a vegan ive tried so troublesome to love be one yet its rly troublesome. natalie :)
