I had this once and enjoyed it a lot. It was a very soft creamy tofu topped with fruit. Similar to ice-cream in texture but without milk thickness. What kind/grade of tofu is this? I was out of country when I ate it and have never seen any tofu like it in the US. My host said it was like the “cream” of tofu. (if tofu was milk)

Ok. We vegans try to save the poor animals that get killed everyday..so we stop consuming meat and "save" animals and land that is used for grazing right? than why the soybean industry is destroying the amazons a place where many animals live??? I saw a documentary and the soybean industry is using more and more land ...we consume soybeans..a lot! right? then we are saving "some" animals while we kill others....and destroy land....am right or wrong?? opinions please!!!

The regular flake offered at groceries is smaller than I want. Web sites are misleading, indicating they sell coconut but they don't

I had these beautiful fritters at a restaurant recently and would love to know how to make them. The pumpkin was mashed, the zucchini grated really finely and i'm not sure about the spring onion but maybe chopped really finely. The mix was rolled in balls and dipped in a really light (maybe tempura) batter.

Using this forum has caused me to research my chosen lifestyle again... it has been a few years.
:)
I have discovered the vegetarian/vegan food pyramids, which suggest I should be eating at least 3-5 servings of vegetables a day and a minimum of 3 servings of fruit a day. When you add the legume and grain categories, I should be preparing/ eating A LOT of food.

Because I work and go to school (both full time,) I don’t have time to prepare all that food. I am thinking of making juices because they will fit into my hectic lifestyle.

So,
-What are some great vegetable (or fruit) Juice mixes I can make at home to ensure I am getting all the produce and vitamins I need?
-Do I add seasoning?
-How long after making them can they last in the refrigerator?
-Also, vegetables can be pretty expensive this time of year; will I get the same nutrients from frozen veggies?

Please no anti-vegetarian comments… I’m just minding my business, trying to make some juice here.

:)
