Pure fruit and vegetable juices are high in important nutrients. Tomato juice, for example, is rich in vitamin A and C; and citrus juices, especially orange juice, are rich in vitamin C. Commercial fruit juices may have sugar and other substances added, and they are usually pasteurized to prevent fermentation and spoilage; a process which destroys some of the nutrients.
The labelling of fruit drinks is confusing for consumers. 'Whole orange' means that the drink includes the pith, skin and flesh, to which water and sugar is added, and 'orange flavour' means that it contains artificial flavourings, colour and perhaps a little orange essence. Most types of fruit squash and cordials only contain about 5 per cent fruit juice. High juice squashes contain more, but are also more expensive. Vitamin C levels fall quickly if juice is stored for a long time. Most juices are extracted in their country of origin-where they are made into a concentrate by removing the water. They are then rehydrated and packaged in this country. Freshly squeezed orange has the highest vitamin C content, but is expensive and deteriorates quickly.
Other than this you think better than vodka? for what i known vodka orange is taste good.
hope this info can share with everybody......._;-)

It's not as healthy as a lot of people think because it has a lot of sugar, but if it's natural it probably has less, and it has all the vitamins that they fruit has. Alcohol is not good for you in any way, so fruit juice is definitely better for you than vodka. Alcohol is just empty calories, and a lot more than people realise.

Yes, it is healthy, depending on what kind of juice it is, like orange juice, or grape juice. Some juices are artificial, and are just made up of food coloring, and loads of sugar, so be careful.Tropicana, and Juicy Juice are real juices.Anyways, juice unlike soda and all that madness doesn't have alot of carbs in it.And in some ways it is better than vodka, because when you drink juice, you don't have to worry about destroying your liver.

Fruit has nutrients, including anti-oxidants, that help your immune system fight disease and environmental toxins. The juice of fruit has the same nutrients, except for the fiber. Juices you buy at the store are pasteurized so are not as healthful as fresh squeezed or whole fruit. Take care that it isn't sweetened with that bane of health, corn syrup (a.k.a. high fructose corn syrup) - the best is just fruit and nothing else - but most are from concentrate (another factor that lowers the nutrient value). Fruit juice is lacking the harmful effects of soft drinks which leech nutrients from your body and so are far healthier then they are. As far as I know, vodka has no health enhancing nutrients.

A lot better for you than Vodka - in fact Vodka has a Nutritional factor of 0 - so is all bad! Fruit however, contains vitamins, minerals and essential ions that help regulate many of your bodily functions ( e.g good for your gut and stomach) and helps your immune system and other vital mechanisms in your body such as eye sight and brain activity.

Fruit juice can be good for you, but you should only be drinking a small bit of it. The single-serving bottle sizes it comes in now are actually about 4 times the "healthy" amount to be drinking.

100% fruit juice is good for you. Most "fruit juice" on the market contains very little real juice, though. Avoid any juices with high fructose corn syrup especially.

Pure juice still has sugar in it. Do your teeth a favour and add a bit of water to it.
