tofu what is good about it, how to use it and where to obtain it in the Bronx, any supermarket or veg store?

i need to know about TOFU and where to get it and how to prepare it,and any other uses for it.serious question,is it good for furniture polish, or greasing gears or whatever lubrication, skin treatment, any of these or others thank you for answering

Most supermarkets carry it now in the fresh produce section there are different densities available soft or silken, which is used in shakes and smoothies, medium which I've seen used in soups and firm which can be grilled or used in stir fries.

Tofu takes on the flavour of whatever you're cooking it with.

As far as other purposes, eating it is the only purpose I know of. It has no oils in it so most of the purposes you mention wouldn't make sense.

Oh yuk tofu has no taste at all why would you want to eat something that has no taste?

You can sue it for about everything. I made spinach dip with Tofu, use it for milk shakes. deep fried in sticks etc/etc

i use tofu in place of meat n its available at pathmark in the produce isle.
