Interesting question, not by the content but by the comments it has ilicited.
It blows me away that so many people are so ignorant of the world around them. It blows me away that they are so paranoid about a drug which is far far far less harmful than alcohol and far far far less addictive than coffee or tea.
However, these people do explain why such idiots get voted into postitions of power are destroy the peace and harmony in our world. These people are ignorant, scared little people who will believe anything anyone tells them simply because they are wearing a uniform or are nothing more than popular.
I really wish you could stand on your own two feet, look at the world through your own eyes and make your own decisions based on your own experiences or based on logic and common sense...
Wacky backy is as harmful as a putting your big toe into a bath of warm water.
Start thinking for yourselves and help make this world a better place.

In India and parts of central America, marijuana is eaten as a medicine (although not eaten like a vegetable... maybe because it is not very tasty). The young raw leaves are rolled into small balls and eaten, or swallowed like pills--- said to help tremendously with arthritis and inflammation and other ailments. And not get you stoned either---
To release the THC, apparently, the pot must be heated--- smoked or cooked or put into diffusion in a decoction.
it is actually an extremely useful plant-- THC aside-- and it is ludicrous that it is illegal.
Even as a "drug" it is useful medicinally AND recreationally. Altho it has been many years since I used it to get high---I would 100% rather my kids, friends, or even strangers on the highways use pot than alcohol. Far less aggression and stupidity and accidental deaths.

As much as I have a personal distaste for marijuana, I feel I should point out that the plant itself is quite rich in protein... equal to or higher than the soybean plant.
Of course, by the time it becomes the crap that most people think of as marijuana, all the nutrition is gone. However, the plants could be harvested and eaten in the same sense that soybeans are...

If you eat the green leaves you might get some vitamin A, but face it, lettuce and all the other salad greens will be a lot easier to get and you can even eat the other salad greens in public without worring about some cop busting a drug user.

Regardless of marijuana's lack of health benefits, it is well worth it ;)
It isn't a veggie, it is an herb, a part of the mint family.

Yes, most doctors recommend that you sprinkle the odd bit of marijuana over your morning cornflakes.
Very nutritious.
