I was shocked when I read an answer by Becca D. According to what it said, all meat eaters are cruel and murderers. Am I the only one that thinks this Becca thing an extremist?

Quote by Becca D "This vegan" is absolutely correct. Animals are being slaughtered for your selfish tastes. If you were a vegetarian, you could save, instead of kill, approximately 95 animals per year. You are a cruel person and a murderer. Just because you work hard doesn't make you good. And you are filling your families bodies with saturated fat, cholesterol and countless chemicals which do not process out of meat. Just because you did not personally kill the animal does not mean that you are not responsible for its death.
Accessory to murder.

My friend asked me because he wants to become a vegan but now he is a vegetarian but he has heard many foods have animals by products in them. I want to know how much more do vegan friendly products cost? and how much do these imitation meats cost compared to meat and what about soy milk compared to milk?

I've been vegetarian for seven days, and I recently, as of yesterday started to get sick.. fever, dry cough. This has nothing to do with becoming a vegetarian does it?

The reason why I'm asking this, is because my mom scared me by saying ''you're probably sick because you stopped eating meat over night."

how does this make any sense at all? I mean, I am a meat eater and I understand totally if you want to be vegetarian, but if you aren't eating meat so an animal doesn't have to die to feed you , what are you saying? a fish isn't really an animal? it isn't tortured or killed the same? it just seems wildly hypocritical to me and I don't want to ask her as I don't want to start a fight. but seriously--any vegetarians who can explain this train of thought to me? cause I feel like you eat animals or you don't. not "I don't eat meat except fish" what is that about? seriously, I am curious. thanks.

What's your opinion?
Does the vegeterian diet make you more intelligent?
Or do more intelligent people choose to become vegetarian?

I am currently a vegetarian, and have been for four years. But I would like to become a vegan. Does anyone have any good recipes for vegan yogurt, or any good vegan recipes in general? Thanks for your help. Happy holidays!!!

I love my mom's old fashioned tuna noodle casserole, but I hate the tuna part. What would be a good substitute for tuna in a casserole recipe? My husband refuses to even try tofu, so it has to something else. Tuno is not sold anywhere near me (I live in the Iowa).

A vegan told me that eating meat makes me a murderer and that I am responsible for death, pain and cruelty.

I work hard to provide for my family and there is always some meat on the table. To me, a meal is not complete with a meat entree. I want my family to be healthy and get the necessary nutrients that their bodies need.

What that vegan said to me is really bothering me. I consider myself to be a good person, but this vegan insists that I am a murderer. How should I respond this vegan?

My very healthy 17 year old has been a vegetarian for three years. Should we be concerned with anemia or perhaps a lack of protein? Should she have blood work to determine that she is indeed as healthy as she appears? She is very stressed in her senior year of high school with an abundance of homework, college applications etc., plus doesn't eat 3 "squares"...sometimes relying on cheese pizza or a veggie sub as her one big meal for the day. I know she's getting enough veggies, but what about protein?

In work and somebody is becoming a veggie after newyear. we are racking our brains trying to think of what special diet it is when people won't eat fruit or veg unless it has fallen from a tree or has come to the end of 'its life' same as they will only eat animals that died naturally?? any ideas?

I'm a vegetarian who likes to try new, fun, but low-calorie recipes. I was thinking of making fake chicken nuggets with tofu, but I wondering if tofu has a lot of calories in it.
