Tofu is cheap. You can buy a box of tofu for $1 and the restaurant sells a dish for $5+. Of course it's good business.

Tofu is low in calories, has good amounts of iron which is good for during women pregnancy and has no cholesterol which is good for your heart. Some company made with high calcium which good for your bone development. I love tofu in some chinese dishes, with fish and dessert. You can cook them in so many ways.
