In my opinion,

I do not think boiling broccoli is the best way, for it
takes all the flavors and the protein.
Steaming it is the best way to go, also if you barbecue
you can rap it in aluminum foil and put it on top of the
grill with some butter and pepper and let it cook until
tender and it will be the MAX.

Enjoy, Love Broccoli.

I do not usually boil vegetables, but broccoli is one. In a saucepan put in enough water to cover broccoli. Bring to a hard-boiled add broccoli and two tablespoons of sugar boil for seven minutes drain and served immediately

Using a steam pot produces the best results for me. About 10 to 15 mins. from full boil. This is for fresh broccoli. You may adjust for your preference of tenderness.

I personally only cook the brocolli until it is bright green. Which is roughly 2-3 minutes in a steamer for 2 servings! It has a mixture of the raw and cooked flavor. After, I sprinkle "Nature's Seasoning" on it! Delicious!

I love broccoli.. =)

Alternatively, you can also stir-fry the vegetable with cooking oil with garlic, carrots and prawns.

I guarantee you it will taste good.

I use my rice cooker...it comes with a tray for steaming vegetables as well. Works perfectly everytime. Cooked but never soggy!

I cut them into bite size and boil them in water. Don't cover the pot. If you cover the pot with a lid, your vegie will turn brown.

I like it steamed or stir fried, do not kill by over cooking.
