I have ruined several woks within days of buying them presumably because i keep washing them. Problem is I cook a lot of curries in them, and i feel I need to wash them after use with soap and water. SOme times food gets burned onto the wok and so i feel i need to soak for a short time, but the wok always ends up rusting or the surface becomes damaged in some way. I bought another one 2 weeks ago and its covered in rust and ruined.

What am I doing wrong?? Please help!!

I've been looking for this coffee. I've always liked this strong coffee. I bought a few from the Philippines while I was on vacation there. But I can't find a store that sells them in the US.

I'm going to make Sauerkraut with some spicy turkey sausage. What else can I make to go with this dish? All I can think of is perogies. I heard somewhere that sauerkraut typically served ontop of mashed potatoes....but that doesn't sound right to me. Wouldn't the kraut make the potatoes all watery?

Can anyone tell me if Kroger Foods is an affiliate of Ralphs Market?

The reason I ask is, I've been buying Extra Virgil Olive oil made by Kroger and the other day, I went shopping at Ralphs and saw the same exact labeling on their olive oil. The only difference was, one said Kroger and the other said Ralphs.

Can anyone verify this for me?

Thanx

It's a cooking device that can be from 18 inches to 2 1/2 feet across with a semi deep bottom used in Mexican or outdoor cooking even. In Spanish the word for it is diskco, I think?

Where can i buy smelt roe (the small crunchy eggs that you find in california rolls sometimes it comes alone with rice and seaweed)? I know amazon sells it but I don't want to buy it online. Would walmart, farmfresh, food lion, or harris teeter have it? If i can find it do I have to prepare it in order to make sushi and how??
Thanks a lot!

I have tried multiple recipes but none are what I like. I prefer a sweet tasting sauce with the carrots without a lot of chilis. It's usually orange in color. Help me!

I'm American but I don't know what is considered authentic American food... I mean all I see is fry chicken, burgers, and all that junk. Also in my state theres a lot of different cultures of foods that are Americanized. SO I am confuse what can be considered our food.

I got pen pals in Japan asking me and they say that they wanna eat like us Americans. Pfft at least they got pretty healthy authentic foods... I mean we got mostly fast foods here so what can I tell them? Well my family sometimes has New York steak. I mostly eat meat, veggies, and rice all togehter every day because my mom can cook.

Thanks for reading.
