Durian fruit contains a high amount of sugar, vitamin C, potassium, and the serotoninergic amino acid tryptophan and is a good source of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. It is recommended as a good source of raw fats by several raw food advocates, while others classify it as a high-glycemic or high-fat food, recommending to minimise its consumption.

When it's fruit, how bad can it be. First of all, it's natural. 2nd, it's very digestible and full of vitamins and good nutrients. So, I don't see why it's not so healthy. If it's god made, it's good for you, unless man alter it and process into something that they thought was even better. This fruit has a funny fragrance that's very perfume. The outer fruit itself is spikey with big thorns, so be carefully when handling it. When you cut it it's flesh is yellowish and sweet with some white sticky glue excreting. The flesh can be eaten as is or you can make shake with it. If you have left over, it can be frozen up to a good period of time. Yeah, I don't see anything unhealty with it.

Funny that you say it's "good". While I've never had it, I always hear it tastes/smells like sewage and other unappetizing things.

It may have a lot of vitamins, but I doubt it's healthy since most people will probably gag and throw-up before they even swallow a bite.

I've tried many times.

I don't know the nutrition side of it, but it does sooth my craving. Avoid consumption too much cause you'd get canker sore in your mouth.

They say it's like eating custard while sitting in the toilet.
