I need some ideas for cheap dates, besides walks and picnics, im looking for something different, maybe under 50 bucks...?

Myfiance and I are getting married at the Chicago History Museum and the theme of the wedding is Old-School Classic Chicago with a Modern Twist.

We are interviewing caterors now and we want Classic Chicago fare for every part of the meal. (passed appetizers, salad, 1 steak choice, 1 fish choice, 3 interactive dessert stations, late night snack)

Any suggesstions....we already have alot of good ideas and have looked at menus of classic chicago steakhouses and restaurants but would like some fresh ideas from some of you.

Like food items (without everyone thinking you are just a cheap jerk) or music. Does anyone have any creative ideas for entertainment for a wedding other than traditional things. This would be a traditional church wedding but I would like the reception to be happy and fun and with a little creativity but I don't have the biggest budget in the world. Maybe 150 guests. I'm throwing a baby shower in a week, and I need ideas for food. The shower will be from 4-6, so I'm having a hard time deciding on what type of food to prepare. The theme for the shower is "A star is born," (a hollywood/celebrity spin) so if anyone has food ideas that go along with this theme then that would be great!! :o) Also, if anyone has ideas on decorations then that would also be wonderful!

I am just having a little party like 5 of my best friends ever are coming over and staying the night then we are going to eat pizza and make some super cool ice cream sundays with everything. I was also planning to watch some cool movies and eat candy and what not but I dont know what kinds of movies to rent because one of my friends can watch rated R movies and I want some cool fun movies we will all like so any ideas.
