Cosmos w/ baked bried and apples.
Cosmo:
Fill a shaker with ice- then add
1 1/2 shot of good vodka (flavored can be fun)
1/2 shot of triple sec
a squeeze of lime,
cranberry juice
Shake well then strain into martini glasses, garnish with a slice of lime on the rim if you want.
Baked Brie w/apples:
small round of brie cheese
honey
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
puff pastry dough (the premade frozen kind)
sliced green apples
Lay out the dough (thawed), place the round of cheese on top, sprinkly with nuts, drizzle with honey. Bring the dough up around the cheese to completely conceal it. Bake it around 350 until the dough is golden. Serve with fresh sliced apples. I like some fresh sourdough bread sliced, too! Too serve it, place it on large plate and let your guests slice into it them selves. Spread it in the apples or bread, or eat separately either way there good.
Now that think about, cosmo's might not go that with it though.
Maybe try white wine, a Chardanney or a Voignet. Something with a little oaky flavor to it. YUM!

I don't see a dessert being served. Make individual cheese cakes in foil lined muffin tins. This recipe is for 12
12 Lorna Doone cookies
2 pkgs.( 8 0z.ea. ) cream cheese softened
3/4cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
2 Tbls. all-purpose flour
1tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. grated lemon zest
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with liners. Place 1 cookie in bottom of each each cupcake liner. At medium-high speed , beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add the last 5 ingredients; beat until blended. Divide among the muffin cups. Bake 25 minutes or until puffed. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely on rack. Top with whipped topping and fresh raspberries. ( you could glaze the berries with a raspberry glaze.
DRINK; Pink Halo.....serves 10
2 bottles ( 750 mil. ea. ) of cheap Champagne or sparkling wine
1 cup raspberry flavored vodka
Splash or two of grenadine ( for the pink hue )
Mix all in large pitcher. Chill
Serve in Champagne glasses with a skewer of raspberries.
Very Girly!

offer to do it at your house. if that is possible, then fix up the place nice and get some small party favors like small bottles of wine(depending on how many guests). buy the decorations and plates and cups and candles and everything. ask your friends what they think the party needs. you'll find something. good luck. have fun at the party.

The classier idea:
Pina Colada and grouper canapes with pinapple mango relish
It isn't classy, but it works.
Beer and Brats
Jello Shots and Whipped Cream

You can never go wrong with beef and beer.
T-bone steaks on a grill and good beer (not bud for example).
