If so... what would you name a bar or club?

I've pretty much decided I want a beach party and I want to spend the night there. I don't know now if I want to have a party-party (music, sand games, bbq, the works) or if I want to have it strictly themed like Survivor. I want to know what the Survivor parties turned out like for others before I invest my money in what I'm assuming to be a semi-expensive event. Those of you who have had this type of party even, not just a Sweet 16, can you please help? I don't want to spend money on something that I would've had a better outcome spending on a regular beach party. I serve cocktails (loads of them, 25 combinations between Peach Melon Amaretto Coffee liquors, Cranberry Orange Lemonade Pineapple juices, etc!), Sprite, Coke, and a cake.

should I let people know on the invites that it is going to be a cash bar or would they already assume this? It is a party later on in the evening. I am putting on the invites party at 7:30, b/f arrival at 8. I think I am going to do some appetizers, which of course would be of no cost to guests, but I certainly can't afford buying drinks for everyone.

i need to plan a great 21 birthday party for my boyfriend all his friends live far away but in the same state so i'm pretty sure they will come down. I don't know what to do i really want to throw a party for him and i know he wants me too but he just dont wantto tell me lol. I want it to be a surprise party i will tell all his friends to tell him that they wont be able to come down to celebrate his birthday with him. So it can be like the biggest surprise ever. For a 14th birthday party

Beach Bash and Bonfire
Starts in the afternoon, continues until about 10pm. There will be lots of food to eat in addition to S'mores.

I'd hate to have no form of "cake" or something to put candles in. Any ideas? Some adults spike a watermelon--could I put sprite or martinellis sparkling cider in a watermelon? How would I do this?

For a 14th birthday party, I'm having a beach bash and bonfire. it will start in the afternoon (2-3-4ish, I haven't decided) and go till' 10pm or so. I am looking for activities to do during the day hours (before dinner). Any ideas for a scavenger hunt list at the beach?? This would be at the end of September/into early October.
Other ideas are appreciated as well.

Help me with entertaining ideas. Them more random the better. Just moved in to a new townhouse community and thought the best way to get to know the neighbors would be to have my friends come over and drink and do a scavenger hunt in the neighborhood. Sound like fun? Then end up in the hot tub!

Okay so my shower is this weekend & my 17yr old sis & her best friend are in charge! What are some cheap & easy kinds of food to serve?? We know it's buffet style....and what kind of dip would you use on a fruit tray?? Please help I'm desperate!!

OK.....so we have decided that we want to have a end of summer party/BBQ. I know it's OK to put BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) on the invites. But is it OK to also put Bring Your Own Meat?

We can afford to purchase the other food such as chips, salads, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks. But for the amount of people we would like to invite we can't afford Chicken, Steaks or Ribs (I will pick up a case of hamburger patties and hot dogs from Sam's Club for the kids in attendance).

I don't know. What do you all think?

i am organising a spring pool party month end september (South Africa) -with the idea of making money. it wont be difficult getting the poeple to attend. just not sure how to make it clear that everything from food to drinks will be on sale. drinks will be cheaper than in the stores and taverns, i am getting it for half price.
