I'm having a 21st birthday party and it'll be a Mardi Gras theme.
But I don't know about the invitations...I need something inexpensive, and unique. Any idea could be help...even if it isn't directly Mardi Gras.

we always buy a plain white on the outside cake. the place always personolizes it with the words we want. but we always make it special, two years ago we put real little flowers on it, and last year we put rasberries with mint leaves. we dont know whats next! please give me ideas.

We are having an annual Labor Day 3 day weekend party in the woods with a pond. Every year we have a theme. This year it looks like it will be Pirates and Sea Wenches. I would like to have a treasure hunt with a chest of booze as the prize to who finds it. I am looking for ideas as far as clues and what not to pull it off.

I haven't thought about it too much so anything will help.

OK, so I'm planning this huge cookout, I need a list of things to get, do, buy, prepare, etc. Like find a location, get a DJ, rent tables and chairs, so on, and so on. I don't want to forget anything. Basically I need the steps to planning a huge cookout. Thanks!

She's 7. I don't want to just serve a veggie tray or make it so obvious that we're not serving cake and ice cream because of her diet. Please no, "well this one day won't hurt" comments. She's struggling and working hard at loosing weight and I do not want to set her back. We are thinking maybe an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.

My neighbor just called and invited me and my wife over for dinner for his wife's 30th birthday. They are cooking steaks and told us not to bring anything. Of course we are going to but we will not have any time to make anything once we get home from work. What is something nice we could pick up on the way home that would go along with steak. It isn't a big party, it will just be us so I don't think a veggie tray would work. Any ideas?

Okay, my friends and I range in age from 24-30. Two opf my girlfriends have houses next door to eachother and they are opening up both backyards this weekend for a bit of a booze fest. We want a them, though. No costumes, please. Just a fun theme. We've already done the 70's, so that's out. We want something where we can icorporate the food and drinks into it as well. Thanks ahead of time for the ideas!!

P.S. Best idea will be used and if you want, I'll send you pics of the party with your theme!!

having a 40th bday party for my boyfriend. Dont want to go with the typical "over the hill" decor. Have any ideas? Thought about having some of those life size cardboard cut outs custom made from a pic of him when he was young? Any info on that? Or any other ideas I could do using old pics of him? Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

It would be in August and take place outdoors. Doesn't even matter if we raise all that much money. We just need something fairly easy that will bring people into our tent. Our other idea was a taco bar.
