It would be in August and take place outdoors. Doesn't even matter if we raise all that much money. We just need something fairly easy that will bring people into our tent. Our other idea was a taco bar.

Church's do bbq chicken dinners
If your outdoors and setting up under a tent those 2 bring a lot of attention to your tent especially if you are bbq'ing cause te smell goes everywhere. Even if you did boneless chicken breasts done on grill with BBQ sauce and sold as a sandwhich works well. Hope this helps

How about cold fresh fruit bowls or Smoothies...to make an awesome smoothie use freshly squeezed orange or tangerine juice (Nake juice brands are decent) Vanilla Organic Yogurt and frozen fruits of choice. I would also add a few drops of honey to taste to make it slightly sweet.
Get a few blenders and some cool cups and straws...it's not all that expensive and people should come to you for the healthy refreshing drink.

How about grilled Pizza? I buy prepared pizza shells and load them up with my favorite pizza toppings and grill them until the cheese melts.

you said meal, so i chose breakfast...try a pancake breakfast with sausages on the side...it's easy and good...
