Albertsons grocery stores just started providing cupcakes for special events. Also, in Seattle there are several cupcake bakeries like cupcakeroyale.com. On average, the high end cupcakes are $3 each, with a discount for a dozen. Try searching for cupcake bakeries in your area or call a few local cake bakeries! Have fun!!!

There are so many cup cake places these days. Try Sprinkles in Beverly Hills. If you live in the valley there is an affordable place called MY LITTLE CUPCAKE. It's on Ventura Blcd. In Studio City. You may also want to try YUMMY CUPCAKES they have two locations. On on Magnolia Blvd. In Burbank and the other I think is in Santa Monica.

Good luck!

I think every state has a Sam's Club or Costco or another discount store like this. The places near me always sell cute, good cupcakes. Check it out!

For something as simple as cupcakes I would make them. Maybe red velvet or something like that. You can make 8 good size cupcakes for $3.

You might also check out Porto bakery in Glendale for affordable, elegant, and yummy desserts.

If you have a Food 4 Less near you, they make pretty good cupcakes. Try Stater Bros., Albertson's, Von's or there's a bkaery near you, go there and see what kind of cupcakes they have.

I can't help you much, since I live in Maryland. I can give you a site that has 2 really cute ideas for your shower. If you know a handy friend who can bake, the site tells you all that you need and gives you instructions on how to make them. Maybe you could take the picture and instructions to a bakery to have them make them.

It's cheaper to make your own. I think little heart shaped ones would be cute. Colored blue or pink or both. You use a marble between the cupcake pan and the paper to get the heart shape...

try checking to see if one of the local community colleges has a culinary school. talk to a instructor to see if they can hook you up w/ a student to bake them. or, check w/ a craft store that sells cake decorating supplies to see if they have an instructor that you may could work something out w/.
